SMADAV INDONESIA
autorun.inf folder lock is a feature created by SMADAV Indonesian anti-virus, it helps you keep your computer from autorun.inf virus. But, sometime we need to use autorun file, for example to make auto executable file, change icon, and etc.
SMADAV give an option in the program to remove this locked autorun, but what if you don't have SMADAV?



  1. Use CMD
    type cmd in run dialog box and type text below without outer quotes
    "rd\\.\\"X:\autorun.inf"/s"
    If asked for confirmation, type Y and enter
  2. Use Linux OS
  3. Use Norton Ghost Bootable

    you're welcome,
    but this way is less effective when used in latest SmadAV, SmadAV has provided a feature to unlock the drive that has been locked.

    Open SmadAV, Tools, Smad-Lock, select the drive and click unlock
