Many people are having trouble uploading a gif picture to Twitter avatar. It was easy before, simply upload the GIF file in the edit profile page, but now, when I tried to upload via ordinary method, the GIF file is converted to JPG, so the animation is gone.Some search in Google and Bing gave me a result, now I'm able to set an animated picture as my Twitter avatar. Simply go to https://twitter.com/welcome/profile and upload your GIF picture.
