How to Upload GIF to Twitter Avatar (Aug, 20th 2013)

Many people are having trouble uploading a gif picture to Twitter avatar. It was easy before, simply upload the GIF file in the edit profile page, but now, when I tried to upload via ordinary method, the GIF file is converted to JPG, so the animation is gone.

Some search in Google and Bing gave me a result, now I'm able to set an animated picture as my Twitter avatar. Simply go to https://twitter.com/welcome/profile and upload your GIF picture.

Remember that this works when this post is written. If you find this doesn't work later, please tell me and of course other reader in the comment below :)

  1. Well this is exactly what thousands of people just like you are doing right now. They are called ‘Social Media Managers’ and they are getting paid great money to work online doing simple tasks on Twitter such as:

    Sending out ‘tweets’ for businesses
Following customers and other related businesses
Uploading photos and videos to Twitter
    Generating more followers
Most of these jobs don’t require any prior experience and the only skills you need are a good knowledge of how to use Twitter. Click the link below to get started:
